Bio of Dr. Richard Morrison:  Retired international executive of Eli Lilly and Company, a global pharmaceutical company. He was with Lilly for over 30 years, living in eight different countries, and having general management responsiblities for over 70 countries during his Lilly International career. Following his retirement from Lilly, Dr. Morrison became an “Executive in Residence” in the Cameron School of Business at UNCW. Indeed, he was the first person to become a member of the CSB in this capacity. He served in this position for six years, after which he retired (his second retirement). However, he returned to the CSB to teach International Business on a full-time basis in 2007 and continues to do so, again as an “Excutive in Residence.” During all of his CSB teaching, he has been very involved with his many students as a teacher and advisor. He continues to be a professor who is highly interested in helping students learn skills that will help them achieve successful business careers. His door is always open to students who wish to discuss their futures. Dr. Morrison has been on the CSB Executive Advisory Board for several years, and remains on the board to-date. Dr. Morrison has served on numerous USA and International Corporate Boards, all of which have been involved in global business. Indeed, he continues to serve on Corporate Boards, both USA and European Companies, as well as University Boards, and community-related boards. He is married to the former Belinda Gray. They have four children and eight grandchildren, the oldest being a senior year student at UNCW. (Bio obtained from UNCW’s website)
